2007-08 (Senior): Member of team that finished first in 200 yard medley relay and was second in 100 yard back event (51.22) against Arizona State (Sept. 28)...was second in 100 LC Meter Backstroke (1:01.72), 100 LC Meter Butterfly (57.33), and 200 LC Meter Butterfly (2:08.26) events against Arizona State (Sept. 29)...placed second in 100 fly (49.48) and 200 fly (1:51.31) events...finished third in 100 yard butterfly (48.00) at the Husky Invitational...recorded top time on the team in the 100 back (49.96), 100 fly (47.76), and the 200 fly (1:48.01)...has second best time on the team in the 50 back (26.14) and the 200 back (1:53.79)...won the 100 yard fly (47.90), setting a new pool record at the Conference USA Championships and was also member of team that took second in the 200 yard medley relay, 400 yard medley relay, finished second in the 100 yard backstroke (48.58), and 200 yard fly (1:46.99).

Prior To UH: Swam three years at the University of Arizona for coach Frank Busch...on Wildcat teams that finished third in the nation in 2005 and '07 and second in '06.

Prep: A 2004 graduate of Desert Vista High School in Phoenix, Ariz...completed his final two years of high school through Mesa Community College...also attended Valley Christian High School in San Jose, Calif., his freshman and sophomore years...lettered four years in swimming and two in water polo...coached by Cathy Manthey and Victor Wales in swimming...earned All-America status...a member of the school record holding 200 Medley Relay...placed second in the Arizona state championships in the 100 Fly and 200 IM...the DVHS record holder in the 100 Fly, 200 IM, 50 Back and 200 Medley Relay.

Personal: Born July 8, 1986, in San Jose, Calif...plans to major in communication...has two older sisters...parents are Kathryn and Jann Maxwell of Phoenix, Ariz.
