2007-08 (Junior): Placed third in 200 yard freestyle event against Arizona State (Sept. 28)...Member of team that finished second in the 200 yard freestyle relay against Wisconsin (Jan. 12)...finished second in the 200-yard freestyle relay event at the Conference USA Championships.

2006-2007 (Sophomore): Recorded a 51.08 at the C-USA Invitational for the 100 Fly, second best time on team...placed fourth on team in the 50 Free at the C-USA Invitational (21.34)...also at the invitational he posted the team's fifth best time in the 100 Free (46.84)...participated in two relay teams at the invitational, the 200 Relay and 400 Relay.

Prep: A 2006 graduate of Ekonomska Sola in Ljubljana, Slovenia...a member of the 2004 Slovenia Junior National Swimming Team.

Personal: Born March 17, 1986, in Ljubljana, Slovenia...plans to major in pre-business...has one older brother...parents are Olivera and Ivan Grzina of Ljubljana, Slovenia.
