NCAA BOUND: Men’s Volleyball Heads to 11th NCAA Tournament

HONOLULU – The University of Hawai'i men's volleyball team earned the No. 2 seed in the NCAA Championship tournament and will host a three-team regional, May 1–2, at Bankoh Arena at Stan Sheriff Center.
 
The Rainbow Warriors (27-5) will meet the winner of USC and Belmont Abbey in Saturday's regional final. Saturday's first serve is set for 4 p.m. HT. 

NCAA regional packages go on sale Monday, April 27 at 9 a.m. USC and Belmont Abbey will square off on Friday, May 1 at 5 p.m., with the winner advancing to face Hawai'i on Saturday, May 2 at 4 p.m.
 
Single match tickets go on sale Wednesday, April 29 at 9 a.m.
 
Tickets can be purchased online or at the Stan Sheriff Center ticket office, Monday through Friday, 9 a.m. - 5 p.m.
 
The new 12-team national tournament features four, three-team regionals at selected host sites. Each of the four host teams received first-round byes. The four regional winners will advance to the NCAA semifinals on May 9 in Los Angeles, Calif.
 
UCLA received the tournament's No. 1 overall seed and will host a regional along with No. 3 Long Beach State and No. 4 Ball State.
 
The two-time national champion Rainbow Warriors will be making their 11th all-time NCAA appearance and their eighth under head coach Charlie Wade since 2015. UH captured the title in 2021 and 2022 during a period in which the program advanced to the title match four straight years.
 
After missing the national tournament in 2024, UH returned to the field last year, advancing to the semifinals before falling to runner-up UCLA.
