HONOLULU — The NCAA champion University of Hawai'i men's volleyball team will return to Hawai'i Island for a special weekend of events, fan meet-and-greets, and an intrasquad showcase Sept. 26-27.
The weekend tips off on Saturday, Sept. 26, at the Hilo Hawaiian Hotel with "A Night of Champions" fundraiser. Hosted by Hawai'i Hilo Athletics and the Vulcan Booster Club, the celebratory dinner will jointly honor the reigning national champion Rainbow Warriors while supporting the Hawai'i Hilo women's volleyball program. Fans attending the dinner will enjoy remarks from the head coaches and student-athletes, relive program highlights, and have exclusive opportunities for photos and autographs with the national champions.
On Sunday, Sept. 27, fans will have another chance to interact with the Rainbow Warriors during a photo session at the Big Island Candies Hilo store from 11:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m. Later that afternoon, UH will hit the court at the Afook-Chinen Civic Auditorium for an intrasquad showcase starting at 4:30 p.m., immediately following the Vulcans women's volleyball match against HPU beginning at 2:00 p.m.
The men's volleyball team returns to Hilo for the second consecutive year after a successful trip last October. Other UH sports programs that have visited neighbor islands in the past several weeks. Recently, the men's basketball team traveled to Kaua'i for a keiki clinic while the women's soccer team visited Maui for a scrimmage with Seattle, underscoring the athletics department's ongoing commitment to engaging with communities across the entire state.

- Tickets: $100 for an Individual Ticket | $1,000 for a Sponsored Table of Eight (includes two volleyball players at the table). Tickets must be reserved in advance at HiloAthletics.com/NOC. Proceeds support the Vulcans women's volleyball program.
Photo Session & Meet and Greet
- Date: Sunday, Sept. 27

- Time: 11:00 a.m. – 1:00 p.m.
Intrasquad Scrimmage
- Date: Sunday, Sept. 27
- Where: Afook-Chinen Civic Auditorium
- Time: 4:30 p.m. (Following the 2:00 p.m. UH Hilo vs. HPU match)
