DID YOU KNOW?
Hawai'i is one of just four teams currently in the top 20 nationally in ERA to also have finished in the top 20 in both 2025 and 2024, joining a group that includes North Carolina, Oregon State and UC Santa Barbara. UH is currently ninth nationally with a 3.54 ERA.

TROPICAL SWARM
The Rainbow Warrior pitching staff remains among the national leaders in several statistical categories. UH is second in the Big West and ranks ninth nationally with a 3.54 ERA. The 'Bows also rank in the top 15 nationally in WHIP (15th), hits allowed per nine innings (10th) and opponent batting average (12th). Additionally, Hawai'i has held opponents to three or fewer runs in 19 of the 36 games and limited them to six or fewer hits 14 times.

TOP 10 TEST
The Rainbow Warriors are 8-35 against top 10 teams since the start of the 2002 season heading into this weekend's series against No. 6 Oregon State. UH beat the Beavers once last season when they were ranked seventh, giving the 'Bows their first top-10 win since 2020. The last time Hawai'i has won a series against a top-10 team came in 2005 when the Rainbow Warriors swept a three-game set vs. No. 3 Florida State in Honolulu. UH has played a ranked Oregon State team 11 times since 2002, going 4-7 in those games.

STACKING SERIES WINS
Hawai'i is coming off of its fourth series win in the last five after taking two games out of three at CSU Bakersfield. Prior to that, UH won two games out of three against UC Santa Barbara, Cal State Fullerton and UC Irvine - all three teams are currently in the top half of the Big West standings. Last weekend, the Rainbow Warriors bounced back after being shut out in the series opener against the Roadrunners to win 5-3 on Saturday before busting out offensively in a 14-5 rout to clinch the series on Sunday.

» Series wins over UC Santa Barbara and Cal State Fullerton, the teams currently tied for first and fourth in the Big West standings.
» UH has played five of the top seven teams in the conference, going a combined 7-8 against them.
» Two of UH's final three conference series are against teams below them in the standings.
» Hawai'i currently sits in sixth place in the Big West standings, just one game behind fifth place.  The top five teams at the end of the regular season qualify for the Big West postseason.

STARTING TO SWING IT
Hawai'i has started to heat up offensively in recent games after struggling to find a rhythm throughout the season. UH is hitting .287 over the last 12 games with double-digit hits in eight of those games and six or more runs scored seven times in that stretch. Prior to this recent eight-game stretch, the Rainbow Warriors were hitting .227 as a team and averaging just 4.5 runs and 7.3 hits per game. UH is also slugging .389 over the last 12 games compared to .296 in the first 24.

» Batting .302 with runners in scoring position in conference games, 31 points higher than the team's average with RISP in all games of .271.
» Tate Shimao is hitting .421 over the last 15 games with seven doubles.
» Shimao also leads the team in hitting in conference games with a .333 batting average and nine doubles with 15 RBIs.
» Ben Zeigler-Namoa has hit safely in 13 of the last 15 games, batting .355 over that stretch.
