Taryn Irimata earned her fourth overall and second-straight Big West Pitcher of the Week award on Monday
. Irimata fired a pair of complete-game road victories at UC San Diego with a 1.00 ERA spanning her 14.0 innings od work.
In the series opener, she allowed two runs on six hits with two walks and four strikeouts. She faced just 27 batters as UH edged out the Tritons, 3-2
. In the series finale, Irimata tossed her third complete-game shutout in her last four appearances. She spaced five hits with two walks while striking out a career-high nine batters. With the two wins, Irimata improved to 10-8 overall and 8-2 in conference.
Overall, she leads the league with an ERA of 2.42 while holding opponents to a .224 batting average with 72 strikeouts
. In conference games, she has ERA to 1.81 while holding opponents to a .203 batting average.
The four Pitcher of the Week awards is the most by a Rainbow Wahine since Kaia Parnaby won the award five times in 2013. Irimata has received the accolade on Feb. 9, March 23, April 13, and April 20, 2026.
