AZUSA, Calif. – The University of Hawai'i track and field team concluded its stay at the Bryan Clay Invitational on Saturday with a series of program top-10 performances and multiple event wins.
Robyn Larkan led the way in the hurdles and sprints, finishing third in the 100m hurdles with a time of 13.62 seconds. While the mark was .23 seconds under the current school record, it was aided by a +2.1 wind and will not count for record purposes. Larkan also moved into ninth in school history in the 200m with a time of 24.35.
The Rainbow Wahine relays turned in two of the fastest times in school history. The 4x100m team of
Tara Wyllie, Larkan,
Amelie Fairclough, and
Isabella Kneeshaw ran 45.71, the No. 2 time in program history. In the 4x400m,
Marissa Crane,
Nora Fischer,
Lisa Martensson, and Kneeshaw combined for a 3:43.61, the fourth-fastest time at UH.
In the field,
Ava Enriquez cleared 3.95m (12-11.5) in the pole vault to move into the No. 5 spot on the all-time list.
Betsy Wade also found success in the vault, winning the open section with a personal-best mark of 3.80m (12-5.5).
The throwers added a win in the open division of the shot put, as
Rose Forshaw took first with a mark of 13.96m (45-9.75).
Valo Sopoaga placed third in the event with a toss of 13.80m (45-3.5).
The Rainbow Wahine will return home before heading back to Southern California for their final regular season meet of the year at the Steve Scott Invitational, May 1-2 in Irvine, Calif.
