The University of Hawai'i women's golf team will compete in the inaugural GameAbove Invitational, March 9-10, featuring a star-studded field that includes several of the top programs in the country. The tournament will be held at the Rolling Hills Country Club in Rolling Hills Estates, Calif.
 
Hosted by USC and Eastern Michigan, the 11-team field features eight teams ranked in the Top 50, headlined by the second-ranked Trojans, No. 3 Oregon and No. 4 Texas A&M. Other Top 50 teams competing are No. 11 UCLA, No. 22 Arizona, No. 26 SMU, and No. 44 Colorado. EMU is ranked No. 30.
 
Rounding out the field are UH, Long Beach State, and 54th-ranked Tulsa.
 
Teams will play 54 holes over two days – 36 on Monday and 18 on Tuesday – at the 6,564-yard, par-71 track. Tee times begin at 8:00 a.m. PT off Nos. 1 and 10 both days.
 
The GameAbove Invitational was created to elevate visibility for women's golf and provide a national stage for the collegiate game. In addition to a strong field, the tournament features more than 10 of the NCAA's Top 100-ranked women golfers, highlighted by Oregon's Kiara Romero and USC's Catherine Park—two of the world's top-ranked amateur golfers.
 
Championship Golf Network will provide live streaming of Round 2 and the final round on CGN's YouTube channel.
 
The tournament is the seventh for the Rainbow Wahine this season, who last competed at the Alice and John Wallace Classic in Palm Desert, Calif., last month. Jasmine Wong was UH's top finisher at 222 and a tie for 29th place.
 
In addition to Wong, UH's lineup for the GameAbove Invitational includes Maline Kraus, Chloe Ku, Emiko Sverduk, and Sofina Firouzi.
