The University of Hawai'i women's golf team returns to the "Garden Isle" to host the 30th annual Rainbow Wahine Invitational, running Monday, Oct. 19, through Wednesday, Oct. 21, at the Ocean Course at Hōkūala in Līhu'e, Kaua'i.
The three-day, 54-hole tournament features 18 holes of play each day using a 5-count-4 scoring format. The action begins with a 9:30 a.m. HT shotgun start on both Monday and Tuesday, followed by a 9:00 a.m. HT shotgun start for Wednesday's final round.
The Rainbow Wahine will welcome a 14-team field representing 11 different states and one international program. The UH lineup for the week includes

The Ocean Course at Hōkūala is hosting the premier women's event for the second consecutive year after the tournament was previously held for a quarter century on O'ahu. The par-72, 5,929-yard layout sits on a picturesque 450-acre natural amphitheater surrounded by the Pacific Ocean, Kalapaki Bay, and the Hā'upu Mountain Range. Home to the longest continuous stretch of oceanfront holes in the state, the course was previously named one of the "World's Most Beautiful Golf Courses" by MSN Travel.
Originally created as the Princeville Rainbow Wahine Fall Classic, the tournament's storied history has seen UCLA capture a leading five team titles. Sacramento State and Baylor—last year's defending champion—follow with three titles each.
Following the tournament on Kaua'i, the Rainbow Wahine will conclude their fall season with the Nanea Invitational, scheduled for Oct. 26-28 at the Nanea Golf Club in Kailua-Kona, Hawai'i.
