HONOLULU — The University of Hawai'i women's basketball team will take the Big West's longest active winning streak into a single-game road trip to face conference leader UC San Diego on Saturday, Feb. 7 at LionTree Arena in La Jolla, Calif.
The Rainbow Wahine have won their last six games and swept their latest homestand with wins over then-Big West co-leader UC Irvine and Long Beach State. UC San Diego has won its last three to move into sole possession of first place in the Big West standings.

- UH's current six-game winning streak is its longest of the season and is the longest active run in the Big West.
- After dropping their first five conference games, the 'Bows have risen to sixth in the Big West standings.
- Freshman guard Bailey Flavell continues to lead the team with 13.6 points per game. The freshman has led the team in scoring in 12 games this season.
- Freshman guard Keiara Curtis has scored in double figures in 10 of the last 11 games and has made at least one 3-pointer in 11 consecutive games.
- Senior forward Imani Perez continues to anchor the UH defense and ranks second in the Big West and 38th nationally with 1.75 blocked shots per game. She ranks second in the conference with 35 total blocks this season and had at least one in 17 of 20 appearances this season.
- As a team, UH leads the Big West and ranks ninth in the nation with 5.9 blocks per game. UH's rate of blocked shots remains ahead of the program record of 5.6 set in the 2004-05 season.
- Senior forward Saniyah Neverson is shooting 54.2% from the field in Big West contests to rank third in the conference.
- UH remains second in the Big West and 21st nationally in field-goal percentage defense in holding opponents to 36.1% shooting.
- The 'Bows have limited opponents to 49.5 points per game on 33.4% shooting from the field during their six-game winning streak.

- Hawai'i and UC San Diego meet for the 11th time in a series that began in 2022.
- UH leads the series 3-1 in games played in La Jolla. The Tritons won the first meeting on Jan. 13, 2022 and the 'Bows won in their next three visits to LionTree Arena, including a 65-63 overtime victory last season (Jan. 30, 2025).
- UH swept the regular-season last year, but UCSD has won the two meetings since. The Tritons ended UH's five-game winning streak in the series with a 51-49 win in the semifinals of last season's Big West Championship in Henderson, Nev. The Tritons won this season's first meeting 65-54 on Jan. 3 at Bankoh Arena at Stan Sheriff Center.
- Erin Condron led four Tritons in double figures with 16 points in this season's first meeting. Rosa Smith hit four 3-pointers and finished with 14 points. Keiara Curtis led UH with 13 points.
- UH senior Izzy Forsyth played three seasons at UC San Diego and saw action in 85 games with 46 starts for the Tritons. She hit 62 3-pointers in her UCSD career and served as a team captain in the 2023-24 season.
- UCSD entered the week alone atop the Big West standings at 10-1. The Tritons play at Long Beach State on Thursday.
- UCSD head coach Heidi VanDerveer is in her 14th season at UCSD and has a record of 267-136. She has a total record of 375-217 over her 21-year career including stops at Occidental and Eastern Washington.
- Condron leads the Tritons with 15.1 points and 8.1 rebounds per game. The junior leads the Big West in field-goal percentage at .556.
- Dymonique Maxie leads the conference with 89 assists (4.2 per game).
- Sabrina Ma is first in the Big West with 54 total 3-pointers and 2.57 per game.
