IRVINE, Calif. — The fifth-ranked University of Hawai'i women's water polo team opens Big West play on the road, beginning with a match against No. 9 UC Irvine on Friday, Feb. 27 at 4:00 p.m. Hawai'i Time (6:00 p.m. Pacific Time) at the Anteater Aquatics Complex in Irvine, Calif. UH will then face No. 10 Long Beach State on Sunday, March 1 at 9:00 a.m. HT (11:00 a.m. PT) the Ken Lindgren Center in Long Beach, Calif.

- UH defeated UCI 16-15 in overtime at the Triton Invitational (Jan. 31), before earning an 11-6 victory at the Barbara Kalbus Invitational (Feb. 14).
- UH holds a 16-match winning streak against Long Beach State beginning from April 29, 2017, including a 10-8 win earlier this season at the Triton Invitational (Feb. 1).
- UH remained at No. 5 in the Collegiate Water Polo Association poll following a bye week and posting a 2-1 record at the Barbara Kalbus Invitational.
- Agatha Weston leads the Rainbow Wahine with 25 goals, while freshman Ariadna Tempranó Xambo holds a team-high 32 points.
- Junior goalkeeper Daisy Logtens was named Big West Player of the Week (Feb. 18) after posting 24 saves at the Barbara Kalbus Invitational.
- Logtens has recorded 67 saves in 278 minutes in the cage this season and is 13 saves shy of 500 for her career.
