HONOLULU—After claiming a third straight Big West title and NCAA tournament appearance, four members of the University of Hawai'i women's water polo team were named to the Association of Collegiate Water Polo Coaches Division I All-America teams for the 2026 season, the organization announced Thursday.
Sophomore attacker Agatha Weston earned ACWPC All-America Second-Team honors, while junior goalkeeper Daisy Logtens, sophomore attacker Ema Vernoux, and freshman utility Ariadna Temprano Xambó received All-America honorable mention recognition.
With this season's selections, UH has featured at least one All-American in all 29 seasons since the program's inception in 1998. The Rainbow Wahine have produced at least four All-Americans in each of the last three seasons.
The three All-America honorable mentions mark the program's highest single-season total since 2020 and just the third time at least three members have earned the designation. This also marks the fifth consecutive year the program has appeared on the All-America honorable mention list.
Weston, the reigning Big West Player of the Year, became the 11th Rainbow Wahine to earn All-America Second-Team honors. This also marks the fifth straight year the program has secured a second-team spot. Weston paced the team with 56 goals on .549 shooting, along with a team-high 34 steals.
Logtens, the anchor of the UH defense, became the eighth player overall and second goalkeeper in program history to earn three career All-America honors. Logtens started all 22 games in the cage and amassed 166 saves with a .461 save percentage. The junior posted 10 double-digit save performances this season and moved into fourth place in program history with 586 career saves.
Vernoux earned All-America honorable mention status for a second straight year. The sophomore attacker posted 40 goals and 15 assists and moved into a tie for 22nd in program history with 118 career goals. Vernoux recorded six hat tricks and scored at least four goals in three contests.
Temprano Xambó, the Big West Freshman of the Year, made the All-America honorable mention list after leading the team with 81 points on 44 goals and 37 assists. Her selection marks the second straight year a UH freshman has achieved All-America status, following Vernoux's nod last season.
UH finished 16-6 in head coach James Robinson's second year at the helm, sweeping the Big West regular-season and tournament crowns for a third year in a row. The 'Bows went undefeated in conference play and extended their winning streak against Big West competition to 29 consecutive victories dating back to 2024. UH concluded its season at the National Collegiate Women's Water Polo Championship in La Jolla, Calif., securing three consecutive NCAA bids for the first time in program history.
