HONOLULU — The University of Hawai'i women's basketball team opens the next-to-last homestand of the regular season by taking on Cal State Bakersfield on Thursday, Feb. 12 at Bankoh Arena at Stan Sheriff Center.
The Rainbow Wahine will look to re-start their momentum after seeing a six-game winning streak end with a road loss to Big West leader UC San Diego. They'll also face CSUN on Saturday, Feb. 14 to cap this week's homestand.

'BOWS NOTES
- The Rainbow Wahine enter the week in sixth place in the Big West standings. After an 0-5 start, the 'Bows reversed their fortunes with six consecutive wins prior to last week's loss at UC San Diego.
- Freshman guard Bailey Flavell continues to lead the UH offense with 13.8 points per game. The freshman has led the 'Bows in scoring in 13 games this season and is on track to become the first freshman to lead the team in scoring average since the 2010-11 season.
- Freshman guard Keiara Curtis has scored in double figures in 10 of the last 12 games and is averaging 11.1 points per game in Big West play.
- Senior forward Imani Perez continues to anchor the UH defense and ranks first in the Big West and 31st nationally with 1.81 blocked shots per game. She ranks second in the conference with 38 total blocks this season and had at least one in 18 of 21 appearances this season.
- As a team, UH leads the Big West and ranks seventh in the nation with 6.0 blocks per game. UH's rate of blocked shots remains ahead of the program record of 5.6 set in the 2004-05 season.
- Senior forward Saniyah Neverson is averaging 10 points per game in Big West games while shooting 53.8% from the field in Big West contests to rank second in the conference.
- UH remains second in the Big West and 22nd nationally in field-goal percentage defense in holding opponents to 36.3% shooting.

- The Rainbow Wahine and Roadrunners meet for the 21st time in a series that began on Nov. 21, 2009, a 105-75 CSUB win. The game remains the last time a UH opponent scored 100-plus points.
- UH has won the last 12 meetings with CSUB, starting with an 81-67 win on March 10, 2021 in the quarterfinals of the Big West Championship in Las Vegas.
- CSUB last defeated UH on Jan. 16, 2021, 51-43 in Bakersfield.

- Sophomore guard Crishawn Coleman ranks fifth in the Big West with 16.9 points per game. Coleman leads the conference with 152 free-throw attempts.
- Center/forward Tena Ikidi ranks fourth in the conference with 7.7 rebounds per game.
- Sophomore guard Morgan Hawkins played at Hawai'i Pacific University last season. She has 21 starts this season and averages 8.9 points per game.
- CSUB assistant coach Fa-Ko-Fiame'a Hafoka-Latu is a 2016 graduate of Lahainaluna High School on Maui.
