After a two-week break from competition, the Hawaiʻi women's cross country team travels to Salem, Ore., to compete in the Charles Bowles Invitational on Saturday, Oct. 3. Hosted by Willamette University, the 5k race is scheduled to begin at 7:00 a.m. HT.
Â
The meet marks the second road trip of the 2026 season for the Rainbow Wahine and their return to a 5,000-meter course after opening the year with a victory at the Big Wave Invitational. UH will test itself on Willamette's home course against a competitive regional field. The trip will also serve as a homecoming for sophomore runner
Lucy Becker, a Salem native and South Salem High School graduate.
