HONOLULU—University of Hawai'i utility Agatha Weston was named Big West Women's Water Polo Player of the Week on Wednesday following a strong weekend at the Fresno State Polopalooza.
Weston earned her first career weekly honor in her return from a redshirt year in 2025. Weston scored seven goals with a .368 shooting percentage and came up with a team-high eight steals and two field blocks to help the Rainbow Wahine post a 2-1 mark in the tournament.
Weston opened the weekend with a hat trick on .600 shooting, along with three steals and two field blocks in a win over No. 12 San Jose State. She then set a career-high with four goals against No. 5 Cal and closed the weekend by setting another career best with four steals in a win over No. 15 Michigan.
UH resumes action at the Triton Invitational from Jan. 30-Feb. 1 at the Canyonview Aquatic Center in La Jolla, Calif. Opponents and match times will be announced at a later date.
