TEMPE, Ariz.—The University of Hawai'i women's tennis team was named an Intercollegiate Tennis Association All-Academic Team for the 10th consecutive season. In addition, six Rainbow Wahine earned ITA Scholar-Athlete honors—

Nikola Homolkova,
Joelle Lanz,
Makeilah Nepomuceno, and
Ana Vilcek
The Rainbow Wahine have been named an ITA All-Academic Team a total of 15 times (2002, '05, '09, '10, '11, '16. '17, '18, '19, '20, '21, '22, '23, '24 and '25). Since 1983, the women's team has had 114 individual players earn ITA Scholar-Athlete awards at least once. Hawai'i's Homolkova has earned ITA Scholar-Athlete honors all three years as a Rainbow Wahine as well as her freshman year at Long Beach State for a total of four awards. Lanz and Vilcek both have earned two ITA All-Academic awards during their UH careers.
To be named an ITA Scholar-Athlete, one must meet the following requirements: have a grade point average of at least 3.5 (on a 4.00 scale) for the current academic year, and be listed on the institutional eligibility form.
To be named an ITA All-Academic Team, programs must meet the following requirements: have a team grade point average of 3.2 or above (on a 4.00 scale), all student-athletes included should be listed on the institutional eligibility form, and all varsity letter winners should be factored into the cumulative team GPA for the current academic year.
