PONCE, Puerto Rico – Led by University of Hawai'i's Kainoa Wade, Justin Todd, and Trevell Jordan, the United States Senior National Team captured the gold medal at the NORCECA Final Six, which ran Oct. 6-12 at the Juan "Pachín" Vícens Auditorium.
 
The fifth edition of the tournament featured national teams of Canada, Dominican Republic, Mexico, Suriname, United States, and Puerto Rico and served as part of the qualification process for the 2026 NORCECA Pan American Cup and 2026 NORCECA Continental Championship. 
 
The U.S. captured is third straight Final Six title, defeating Puerto Rico in straight sets in the finals. The Americans finished the round-robin preliminary phase with a 4-1 record before defeating Mexico in five sets in the semifinals.
 
Wade finished the tournament leading the U.S. with 90 total points on 66 kills, seven blocks, and a tournament-best 17 aces, which earned him the Best Server award. The Kailua, O'ahu native led the team in points in four of the seven matches including in the semis and finals. In the semis against Mexico, he tallied 20 points on 13 kills, two blocks and five aces while in the finals against Puerto Rico, he totaled 13 points on eight kills, one block and four aces.
 
Todd finished with 34 points in the tournament on 23 kills, six blocks, and five aces, including 17 points in a round-robin match-up against Canada in which he led the team. Jordan tallied 20 points in the tourney on 14 kills, five blocks, and one ace.
 
The Final Six capped off a busy summer for Wade and Jordan, who also competed for Team USA at the NORCECA U21 Pan American Cup in Canada, where they earned gold, and at the FIVB U21 World Championship in China, where they took bronze, becoming the first U.S. U21 team, male or female, to medal at the tournament.
