UH is coming off of a 2024 track & field season that ended as one of the program's best in recent history, finishing top three in both the MPSF indoors and Big West outdoors. The 'Bows turned in their first-ever runner-up finish at the MPSF Championships in 2024 before placing third at the Big West Championships outdoors.

A plethora of athletes who medaled at both conference championships return in addition to numerous athletes who own program top-10 marks. Seven Rainbow Wahine who medaled at one of the conference championship meets return while 12 who own a program top-10 mark are back.

Lilian Turban, who became the first UH athlete in 14 years to qualify for the NCAA Indoor Championships, is back looking to become a three-time MPSF high jump champion. Helen Hoadley will look to defend her indoor conference pole vault crown while Tara Wyllie aims to repeat as the MPSF triple jump champion. Isabella Kneeshaw, who earned Big West Freshman of the Year honors outdoors, is back to lead the sprints squad after winning the outdoor 400m title and being a part of three relay conference title winners.

The Rainbow Wahine also welcome in a group of 19 newcomers to replace last year's talented class of graduating seniors. A trio of transfers who have turned in scoring performances at conference championship meets lead the group of newcomers in Greta Fraraccio (jumps), Maya Holman (multis) and Celeste Sela (jumps). Lucy Milliner will look to make an impact on the track after earning Big West Freshman of the Year honors during cross country season.

Following the UW Preview, Hawai'i will return to Seattle for the UW Invite, Jan. 31-Feb. 1.
