HONOLULU--The University of Hawai'i softball team's series opener against Cal Poly was halted due to inclement weather in the bottom of the second. The game will resume with a strike on the batter, one out in the inning and a runner on second and UH leading 2-1. 

The continuation of Game 1 will begin at 2:00 p.m. HT with the second game starting approximately at 4:00 p.m. HT at the Rainbow Wahine Softball Stadium. The third game of the series will not be played.

The Mustangs' leadoff batter Jessica Clements launched a home run to start the game for a quick 1-0 lead. But in the second, with runners at first and second, Maycen Gibbs laid down a sacrifice bunt but a throwing error allowed both Chloe Borges and Mya'Liah Bethea to score as UH took a 2-1 lead.
