Tread Rosenthal were named to the All-Big West Men's Volleyball first team as selected by the league's six head coaches.
Voss earned first team honors for the third consecutive year. Rosenthal and outside hitter
Louis Sakanoko were named to the all-freshman team while Sakanoko also received honorable mention honors.
The individual awards for Player of the Year, Freshman of the Year, and Coach of the Year will be announced next week.
Voss, a senior from Rio de Janeiro, Brazil, is averaging 1.83 kills and 0.95 blocks per set, while hitting a .532 clip. Rosenthal, a freshman from Manhattan Beach, Calif., is a six-time Big West freshman of the week honoree and ranks among the league leaders in assists per set (10.05) and aces per set (0.415).
Sakanoko, a freshman from Paris, France, emerged into the lineup after the injury to
Spyros Chakas and led the team in kills per set (3.06) in Big West play and received freshman of the week honors four times.
Regular season champion Long Beach State and runner-up UC Irvine each had four players on the first team while Hawai'i and CSUN both had two. UC Santa Barbara and UC San Diego each had one.
UH's two first-team honorees were the fewest since moving to the Big West.
