Jordyn Parr and
Emiko Sverduk both shot 2-over 74 in the second round of the 38
th Dr. Donnis Thompson Invitational Monday at Ocean Course Hokuala.
Sverduk only posted two bogeys on her scorecard while Parr scrambled with five birdies, three bogeys and two double bogeys. Sverduk is currently tied for 46
th at 5-over 149 while Parr is tied for 59
th at 7-over 151.
Arizona State's Ashley Menne tied the overall course record with an 8-under 64 and holds the clubhouse lead at 11-under 133. Menne tied Texas A&M's Sam Bennett's record which he set at the 2022 John A. Burns Intercollegiate. Washington's Camille Boyd is one stroke back at 10-under after a second round 67.
As a team, ASU carded a 22-under 266 and has the team lead at 30-under 546. North Carolina is second at 16-under 560 followed by Washington (562), Sacramento State (573), and Fresno State (578). The Rainbow Wahine are 15
th at 609.
