HONOLULU – University of Hawai'i women's golf coach
Julie Brooks announced the hiring of Jordan Briggs as assistant coach for the 2026-27 season.
"I am so happy Jordan is joining our team as an assistant coach," Brooks said. "She understands what it takes to be a successful student-athlete and will be able to help the girls become great players and great people."
Briggs, a native of Livermore, Calif., competed at Montana State, where she earned both her bachelor's degree and post-baccalaureate certificate in the pre-medical program. A four-year letterwinner for the Bobcats, Briggs competed in 25 career tournaments and helped MSU to a runner-up finish at the 2023 Big Sky Conference Championship.
While at MSU, Briggs was president of the Student-Athlete Advisory Committee and was a sports nutrition intern while pursuing her kinesiology degree. She is a licensed Emergency Medical Technician and certified nurse assistant.
During her junior golf career, Briggs won two Junior Golf Association of Northern California titles in 2018. She was a two-time all-league honorable mention honoree at Granada High School, where she lettered in golf, basketball, and track and field. She was a Scholar-Athlete award winner in golf and received the Principal's Award for her academic achievements.
