2025-26 Women's Golf Season In Review

SEASON HIGHLIGHTS

  • Head coach Julie Brooks completed her fourth season at the helm, leading the team to a 302.72 season scoring average, the fifth-lowest in program history.
  • Maline Kraus led the team in scoring with a 75.00 average which is tied for sixth-lowest in program history and capped her two-year career as a Rainbow Wahine with a 74.79 average, second-best all-time.
  • The team’s best 54-hole score was 890 at the Big West Championship, where they placed seventh in their final appearance in the league. The championship was held at the Royal Ka‘anapali in Maui. 
  • Kraus and Jasmine Wong each tied for 10th place at the Big West Championship, where they carded 2-over 218.
  • Kraus and Emiko Sverduk each competed in all 10 tournaments during the season. 
  • Sverduk, a senior from Long Beach, Calif., finished her three-year career with a 75.85 average, sixth-best all-time.
  • UH’s annual spring tournament, the Dr. Donnis Thompson Invitational, celebrated its 40th anniversary and was played at the renovated Pearl at Kalauao on O‘ahu. 
  • Hawai‘i also played host to the 28th Rainbow Wahine Invitational, which was played at Ocean Course at Hokuala in Lihu‘e, Kaua‘i. The tournament returned to the Garden Island where the first two tournaments were held. 

BIG WEST CHAMPIONSHIPS

Maline Kraus and Jasmine Wong both secured top-10 individual finishes to lead the University of Hawai'i women's golf team in the 2026 Big West Championship at the Royal Ka'anapali Course.
