2024 Women's Cross Country Season In Review

SEASON HIGHLIGHTS

  • Turned in the program's first top five finish in the Big West in eight years, matching the highest finish since re-joining the league in 2012.
  • Posted a total of three top five finishes including a clean sweep win at the season-opening Big Wave Invitational for the second consecutive year.
  • Freshman Lucy Milliner posted the highest finish by a UH runner since 2016 at Big West Championships and earned Big West Freshman of the Year honors.
  • Emilie Kirk Langschwager turned in the best finish at an NCAA Regional by a UH runner since 2016.
  • The Rainbow Wahine improved on their team finish at the NCAA Regionals for the third consecutive year.

BIG WEST CHAMPIONSHIPS

The Hawai'i cross country team matched its best Big West finish since re-joining the conference in 2012 with a fifth-place finish. 

BIG WAVE INVITATIONAL

The Hawai'i cross country team got its 2024 season off to a dominant start, sweeping the top five spots to win the Big Wave Invitational. 

UCR INVITATIONAL

The Rainbow Wahine turned in a strong effort in the first road meet of the year at the UCR Invitational, highlighted by three runners placing in the top 30 on the way to an eighth-place finish in the 25-team field. 

CHARLES BOWLES INVITATIONAL

The 'Bows claimed a third-place result behind a 1-2 finish from Emilie Kirk Langschwager and Lucy Milliner.

BRONCO INVITATIONAL

Led by a trio of top 35 finishers, the Hawai'i Cross country team closed out the regular season with a seventh-place finish against a strong field of 19 teams at the Bronco Invitational.
