HONOLULU — The University of Hawai'I women's soccer team earned a 12th consecutive United Soccer Coaches College Team Academic Award with its collective performance in the classroom for the 2022-23 academic year.
 
United Soccer Coaches announced on Wednesday the annual list of teams with a grade-point average of 3.0 or higher for the year. The Rainbow Wahine posted a GPA of 3.64 to finish at or above 3.50 for the fourth straight year. The 'Bows have made the list in each year of head coach Michele Nagamine's tenure leading the program.
 
A total of 814 soccer teams (314 men and 500 women) were recognized with the award for 2022-23. United Soccer Coaches annually celebrates the academic achievements of teams whose student-athletes collectively demonstrate a commitment to excellence in their studies over the course of an academic year.
