2025 Women's Soccer Season In Review

SEASON HIGHLIGHTS

  • The team's eight draws shattered the previous program record of four set in 2008.
  • Posted seven clean sheets - the most in a season by a UH team since 2016.
  • The seven shutouts are also the eighth-most in a single-season in program history.
  • Nalani Damacion earned All-Big West honors for the second consecutive season, being named to the second team.
  • Six Rainbow Wahine earned Academic All-District honors for the fourth consecutive year - the maximum amount of student-athletes who can earn the honor on each team.
  • A school-record 15 Rainbow Wahine earned Academic All-Big West honors.
  • Posted a pair of 1-0 shutout wins in Big West play, including a Oct. 9 win over eventual conference champion Cal Poly.

HIGHLIGHT PLAYS

The Rainbow Wahine delivered some clutch plays this season, scoring over 60 percent of their goals in the second half, including five game-tying or game-winning goals after halftime.

MAHALO SENIORS

Hawai'i honored a decorated group of seniors on Oct. 30, following its final home match vs. UC Irvine. The UH senior class included Eve Bleam, Caroline Carter, Brianna Chirpich, Amber Gilbert, Rikako Hayami, Wakaba Kogure, Penny Noland, Julia Ortega, Krista Peterson and Cate Sheahan.
