Box Score 2 FULLERTON, Calif.—The University of Hawai'i softball team (29-21, 12-12 Big West) fell in both games of Saturday's doubleheader at Cal State Fullerton (33-16, 20-4 BW). Hawai'i fell in the first game, 5-1 and then was shutout in the second, 3-0. With the two losses, the Rainbow Wahine were swept for the first time this Big West season at the Anderson Family Field.
Doubleheader-Game1: CSUF 5, UH 1
Fullerton posted a pair of runs in the first on a Daisy Munoz sacrifice fly that scored Alex Neil. Hanna Becer then doubled to center to drive in Jessi Alcala.
In the top of the third,
Maycen Gibbs launched a solo home run over the left-centerfield fence. It was her second of the season and career to cut UH's deficit in half as CSUF led 2-1. In the next half inning, Gibbs stole a home run, snaring a shot to right from sailing over the fence.
The Titans added two in the fourth on and 2-RBI double by Evelyn Sabla to extend their lead to 4-1. In the fifth, with runners at the corners, the Titans attempted a double-steal. The runner going to second was thrown out, but the run scored to pad their lead to 5-1. Hawai'i starter Key-Annah Campbell-Pua was then lifted and Millie Fidge entered the game.
Campbell-Pua tossed the first 4-1/3 innings, allowing five runs on seven hits with a walk. Fidge shut down the Titans in the final 1-2/3 innings with a walk and three strikeouts.

Doubleheader-Game 2: CSUF 3, UH 0
The Titans' Hannah Becer hit a two-RBI single with two outs to drive in Jessi Alcala and Alexa Neil. CSUF struck again with two outs as Neil added an RBI-double to extend the Titans' lead to 3-0.
That would be all Fullerton starter Myka Sutherlin would need. She threw 6-1/3 shutout innings, scattering four hits with seven strikeouts and no outs. Raci Miranda closed the game getting the final two outs. She gave up a hit with a strikeout.
UH's starter
Brianna Lopez suffered the loss in a complete game effort. She allowed three runs in. six innings of work with three walks and five strikeouts.
The Rainbow Wahine return home for their final series of the season against UC Davis. UH and UCD will face off in a single game on Thursday night at 6:00 p.m.. A Friday doubleheader starting at 4:00 p.m. will conclude the series and the season.
