HONOLULU—The University of Hawai'i track and field team picked up additional honors on Wednesday as five student-athletes were named to the 2022-23 Academic All-District Women's Track & Field/ Cross Country team, selected by College Sports Communicators.
The five selected were
Anna Marx,
Caelan Miller,
Sophia Morgan,
Tierra Sydnor, and
Lilian Turban. In order to be eligible, a student-athlete must be a starter or important reserve with at least a 3.50 cumulative GPA (on a 4.0 scale) at her current institution. All student-athletes who meet the requirements can be named to the at-large all-district team; however, schools are limited to just five honorees.
All five will now have the opportunity to be voted into the CSC Academic All-District First, Second, or Third Academic All- American teams. Those results will be announced at the end of June.
