CHULA VISTA, Calif. – The University of Hawai'i men's golf team is currently tied for 10
th place after the first two rounds of the R.E.L. Lamkin Invitational, Monday, at the San Diego Country Club.
The Rainbow Warriors carded rounds of 289 and 302 for a 591 total and are tied with Loyola Marymount. UH is one stroke ahead of No. 35 Brigham Young (592). Co-host San Diego State leads the team standings at 16-under 560 followed by New Mexico (564) and Colorado State (567).
Atsuya Oishi leads UH with a 4-under 140 total and tied for seventh place, five strokes off the lead held by Washington's Petr Hruby and Colorado state's Christoph Bleier. The Japan native carded rounds of 69 and 71.
Blaze Akana is tied for 17
th place at 1-under 143.
