HONOLULU - The No. 5 University of Hawai'i women's water polo team returns for another week of play at the Duke Kahanamoku Aquatic Complex on Thursday, Mar. 23 against No. 7 Long Beach State and Saturday, Mar. 25 against No. 3 Cal. Both matches start at 6:00 p.m. HT.
The Rainbow Wahine (14-3, 2-0) host their first home conference match of the season when they welcome the Beach (13-5, 3-0). The 'Bows have already faced LBSU this year at the Barbara Kalbus Invitational on Feb. 25, claiming a 15-7 victory UH currently holds a 10-match win streak against Long Beach.
The Rainbow Wahine also previously faced Cal at the Barbara Kalbus Invitational, falling to the Golden Bears (14-4) in a tight 11-10 overtime decision. UH junior
Jordan Wedderburn led the way in scoring, tying her season-high with four goals.
Admission to both week's matches is free. Thursday's match between UH and Long Beach State will also be televised locally on Spectrum Sports and streamed on ESPN+.
