ORLANDO, Fla.--After a two-year hiatus due to COVID-19, the University of Hawai'i cheerleaders make their return to Orlando, Fla. to compete in the 2023 Universal Cheerleaders Associations's Collegiate National Championships from Jan. 13-15, 2023. The event will be hosted at the ESPN Wide World of Sports Complex. The Rainbow Warriors will begin in the semifinals at 12:00 P.M. HT. Streaming information to be determined. The competition will also be rebroadcast later on one of ESPN's networks in February.
Hawai'i has always been known as one of the nation's most innovative and creative teams and a perennial power placing in the Top 10 for all 17 times during a 24-year span. In 2005 the 'Bows finished a program-best third place. In 2018 the UH cheerleaders came in fifth place.
This year's squad is young but enthusiastic and working hard to improve everyday. As the team who supports UH athletics in all areas, the cheerleaders have ramped up their practice in between working all the arena sports and football to put together their routine for the 2023 Nationals.Â

Teams will be judged on crowd interaction and skills—including partner stunts, pyramids, basket tosses, tumbling and overall impression.
