No.4 Rainbow Wahine Takes Final Conference Road Trip

HONOLULU- The University of Hawai'i women's water polo team returns to California for the final weekend of conference against UC Irvine this Friday, April 8, then Long Beach State on Sunday, April 10.

The fourth ranked Rainbow Wahine face off against the fifth ranked Anteaters in a much-anticipated match this Friday at the Anteater Aquatic Complex. Hawai'i and Irvine have become Big West rivals as the team have met in three consecutive conference championships. Friday's match serves as a possible teaser for this year's conference championship that will take place in Honolulu later this month. The 'Bows hold a 4-1 record against UCI when they faced them in the conference championship game.

On Sunday, Hawai'i will compete against the eleventh ranked Long Beach State university. The Rainbow Wahine currently leads the all-time series record against the Beach 27-6. The 'Bows and the Beach were last matched in 2021, where UH secured a 16-9 win.

Friday's first sprint is slated for 3:00 p.m. HT, and Sunday's match will begin at 9:00 a.m HT. Catch all the action on ESPN+ platforms.
