HONOLULU – The University of Hawai'I track and field team heads to California, where they will be split up again between three events.
"We're looking forward to getting some good work in this week. We are four weeks out from the Big West Championships," said coach Boyce. "We are looking to refine technique and keep improving our competitiveness against some great teams from all over the country."
The four-day journey begins in Azusa, Calif., on Wednesday and Thursday with the Bryan Clay Invitational to highlight four athletes.
Sammie Gordon, Jessica MacKenzie,
Anna Marx, and
Lilian Turban will be competing in the heptathlon on both days.
At the same time, on Thursday the 14th, the Pacific Coast Intercollegiate is taking place in Long Beach that will feature another part of the squad. Long Beach will also host the Beach Invitational from April 15-16 to cap off the weekend.

Senior

Rounding out the squad is junior throws
