HONOLULU- The University of Hawai'i women's water polo team welcomes the UC Santa Barbara Gauchos for another Big West conference match this Friday, March 25, at the Duke Kahanamoku Aquatic Complex.
Spectators streamed through the doors for the first time since the 2020 season for an exciting weekend of matches. UH had its 12-game home win streak dating back to 2019 snapped by the Trojans in a 12-9 defeat. The 'Bows bounced back Saturday with a 15-5 win against Big West Conference opponent CSUN.
The Rainbow Wahine welcomes in the No. 9 ranked Gauchos to the DKAC, boasting a 10-0 home record against the squad. With conference play heating up, Hawai'i saw freshman utility

Lara Luka continued to be a force for the Wahine. She added seven more points, which came on four goals and three assists. At the same time, senior center
Elyse Lemay-Lavoie took sole possession of the goal lead at 33.
The No. 5 ranked Rainbow Wahine last faced the No. 9 ranked Gauchos in 2019, where they won in dominating fashion with a 15-9 win. Spectators are welcome again this Friday, at 6:00 p.m. HT.
