OPENING TIP
  • UH will have two exhibitions match before the start of the regular season on Friday, August 27, against North Texas in the Outrigger Soccer Kickoff. The next exhibition will be against HPU on Sunday, August 22.
  • The 'Bows return two of their top stars from the 2019 squad that advanced to the Big West Conference tournament for the first time in program history. Senior forward Kayla Ryan was appointed to conference First-Team while leading UH in goals scored with seven. Junior midfielder, the returning leader in assists at four, was also a First-Team member from 2019.
  • After the 2019 campaign on November 7, head coach Michelle Nagamine said "aloha" to one of the all-time greats at UH with the departure of goalkeeper Alexis Mata. On Tuesday, junior goalkeeper Lauren Marquez will make her debut with the team after sitting the last two seasons behind Mata.
  • Even though UH takes a big blow in terms of players graduating and leaving from the 2019 squad, the 'Bows return seven players who started games two years ago. It's a complete overhaul of the roster, with 28 student-athletes and 16 of them being newcomers.
  • Neither UH nor Tusculum competed in 2020, but the Pioneers had a spring season competing in nine matches for a 2-4-3 record.
