HONOLULU – The University of Hawai'i women's water polo team has released its upcoming 2022 schedule which will consist of 22 regular season matches, eight of which at the Duke Kahanamoku Aquatic Complex. 
 
With fresh recruits and 11 returnees, the 2021 Big West champions will kick off their season with a home series against non-conference opponents San Diego State and Loyola Marymount (Jan. 14-16).  
 
The month of January and February will consist of three mainland tournaments, the first of which will be hosted by Michigan for a two-day event in Ann Arbor (Jan. 29-30). The team will then travel to a sunnier Triton Invitational hosted by fellow Big West Conference member UC San Diego (Feb. 12-13) and will close out the month with the Barbara Klaus Invitational (Feb. 26) in Irvine, Calif. 
 
In March, the Rainbow Wahine will hit the road again, visiting UC Davis and Pacific in the middle of the month before returning to Honolulu for a six-match homestead against conference teams. 
 
UH will host the Big West Championships for the first time since 2015 at the Duke Kahanamoku Aquatic Complex, April 21-23.
