Last year, five different Rainbow Wahine earned All-Big West accolades--

Maya Nakamura, and
Brittnee Rossi all earned second team honors. First baseman
Dallas Millwood received honorable mention honors while Nakamura was also named to the BWC All-Freshman Team. Rossi accumulated 30 hits and scored 21 runs while leading the team in on-base percentage (.436), primarily hitting leadoff. Kaupe, who was also the only Hawai'i player to garner NFCA West Region honors, recorded a .950 fielding percentage at shortstop and led the team with 24 runs, 22 RBI, and six home runs. Nakamura played everywhere on the field as a true utility player. She hit a shade under .300, finishing the season with a .299 batting average, 26 hits, and was she tied with a team-high seven doubles with Rossi. First baseman Millwood came on strong in the latter part of the season, leading the team with a .356 batting average and .525 slugging percentage. Millwood added 14 RBIs, four doubles, and two home runs, respectively. To top it all off, she led the every day nine with a .994 field percentage, committing just one error all year.
In the pitching circle,UH returns the two pitchers who carried the bulk of the workload in 2020--
Jetta Nannen and
Ashley Murphy. Nannen threw 87.1 innings last year--the most by any Rainbow Wahine, while Murphy was second on the team with 65.2 innings pitched. This season, the Rainbow Wahine welcome in a pair of freshman pitchers in Brianna Lopez and Chloe Borges who look to make an impact for the 'Bows.
