Ilagan Earns No. 111 ITA National Ranking

University of Hawai'i sophomore Andre Ilagan will begin the 2021 season ranked No. 111 in the Oracle ITA Division I Men's Singles Rankings.

Ilagan received his first national ranking on March 3, 2020 at No. 117, before the 2019-20 season was halted due to the COVID-19 pandemic. The last UH player to earn an ITA ranking was Blaz Seric, who began the 2018 season at No. 124.

Andreas Weber began the 2007-08 year with a No. 28 ranking and later that season moved up to No. 25 which was the highest in program history.
In his first two seasons as a Rainbow Warrior, Ilagan played primarily at the No. 1 court and last year upset No. 73 Jack Davis of Washington, which catapulted him into the national rankings. In 2018-19, the Honolulu, O'ahu native became the first UH player to earn Big West Freshman of the Year honors.
