The Mountain Pacific Sports Federation (MPSF) announced its academic awards following the indoor track season, which included seven University of Hawai'i track and field athletes. A total of 264 female student-athletes earned the award from 22 different institutions.
Three Rainbow Wahine seniors made the list including a graduate student, two juniors and a sophomore. The seniors include,
Natasha Currence,
Megan Fereira and
Teuila Gardner.
Tristan Setzer was the lone graduate student,
Olivia Hill and
Kristen LaCosse were the two juniors, and
Jada Pierce was the lone underclassmen.

Student-athletes met the following criteria for nomination:
- 3.00 or better cumulative grade point average.
- Student-athlete must be at least a sophomore academically.
- Student-athlete must have completed one full academic year at the institution prior to the season for which the award is
- being received.
- Student-athlete must have competed in fifty percent or more of the institution's competition in the student-athlete's respective sport.
