Rainbow Warriors Hit the Road to Face UC Riverside

HONOLULU - Riding the wave from a series victory over UC Davis, the University of Hawai'i baseball team will travel to Riverside, Calif. to square off with Big West opponent UC Riverside for a three-time series scheduled for Friday, April 12 - Sunday, April 14. The Rainbow Warriors, who are taking just their second road trip of the season, are 3-3 in the Big West so far in 2019.

Series Information: Hawai'i leads 12-8
  • Hawaiʻi is 12-8 in the all-time series versus UC Riverside dating back to the first meeting in 1973.
  • In last year's series between the Rainbow Warriors and the Highlanders in 2018, UH won two out of three in Honolulu. UH won game one (5-4) and three (5-0) with a 9-2 loss in between.
  • The 'Bows have won five of the last six series against UC Riverside.

  • In Sunday's 13-6 win over UC Davis, Daylen Calicdan went 5-for-5 and tied the UH record for doubles in a game with three.
