Track and Field Concludes Day One of California Road Swing

LOS ANGELES - The University of Hawaiʻi women's track and field team wrapped up the first day of competition on its California road trip with entries at the Pacific Coast Intercollegiate in Long Beach and the Bryan Clay Invitational in Azusa.

In Pacific Coast Intercollegiate action, Natasha Currence checked in at 58.42 in the 400m to win her heat and place 15th overall. The time ties a career best for Currence set at the 2018 Big West Championships.

In the 100m hurdles, Aubrie Usui crossed the finish line in a personal-best time of 14.97.

Also running in the 200m at the Pacific Coast Intercollegiate, Currence turned in a time of 25.92, while Malia Miley ran a 26.05.

On Friday, April 19, the Rainbow Wahine will have competitors in the Mt. SAC Relays in Torrance, the Beach Invitational in Long Beach, and the Bryan Clay Invitational in Azusa.
