WAIKOLOA, Hawai'i – The University of Hawai'i women's golf team carded a first round 314 Thursday and is tied for fourth place at the 7
thannual Ānuenue Spring Break Classic at the Waikoloa Resorts Kings' Course.
The Rainbow Wahine trails leader Oklahoma State by 13 strokes heading into Friday's second round. Arkansas State is second at 308 followed by Georgia Southern (311), UH and Utah Valley (314).
UH's top golfers are junior
Megan Ratcliffe and sophomore Tyra Tokham, the latter of whom is playing as an individual. Each shot 5-over 77 and are in a four-way tie for 10
thplace.

Sahara Washington carded 78 and is tied for 14
thwhile senior
Kaci Masuda, the tournament's defending champion, posted 79 and is tied for 16
th.
Utah Valley's Kaylee Shimizu, a Wailuku, Maui native, is the Round 1 leader at even par 72. She is the only golfer in the 49-woman field to shoot even par or better and holds a one-stroke lead over Oklahoma State's Michelle Forsland.
Also competing among UH's team score are freshman
Nicha Vorrasanpisut (80) and sophomore
Malia Ebersberger (81).
In addition to Tonkham, two other Rainbow Wahine are competing as individuals – sophomore Rachel Fujitani (83) and freshman
Haruka Shintani (89).
Round 2 is scheduled for Friday with a 7:30 a.m., shotgun start.
