More than five years ago, Brocke Stepteau arrived on the Manoa campus from his hometown of Dallas, Texas. He was an unheralded walk-on, coming to Hawai'i sight unseen to follow his dream of playing college basketball.
 
Since then, he has experienced the highs and lows of the program, from NCAA turmoil to an NCAA Tournament win. Motivated by his family, the senior has gone from freshman walk-on to senior team captain of the Rainbow Warriors. He's also discovered his voice off the court during his time in Hawaii with a budding rap career.
