The Rainbow Warriors (8-8) will square off with the Roadrunners for just the second time in program history.

Game Notes
- The 'Bows are coming off a 1-3 series with Oregon last week. After a 7-6 win in the series opener on March 7, UH fell by a combined four runs over the next three games.
- Three of UH's regular starters are hitting .315 or better led by Maaki Yamazaki and his .333 average. Scotty Scott (.323) and Alex Baeza (.315) rank two and three on the team in batting average.
- UH is 0-1 in the all-time series versus Cal State Bakersfield, falling by a 4-3 final score on April 18, 2018 in Bakersfield. Maaki Yamazaki went 2-for-3 on the day, while Ethan Lopez knocked in a pair of runs.
- Cal State Bakersfield is 9-9 on the season, most recently completing a four-game sweep of Fairleigh Dickinson.
- It was announced on Nov. 27, 2017 that Cal State Bakersfield will be joining the Big West. The Roadrunners will become official members of the conference on July 1, 2020 and will be eligible to compete for all Big West championships and awards.
- Following the series with CSUB, UH will travel to Columbus, Ohio to take on Ohio State for a four-game set (March 21-24).
