For the second consecutive week, University of Hawai'i men's volleyball junior opposite Rado Parapunov was picked as the Big West Conference Player of the Week while libero Gage Worsley was named the league's Defensive Player of the Week.
 
The duo helped the Rainbow Warriors (15-0) to their ninth Outrigger Resorts Invitational title with wins over King, No. 15 Ball State and No. 6 Pepperdine and in the process, extended UH's win streak to 15 and set win streak to 45.
 
Parapunov was selected as the tournament's Most Outstanding Player after averaging 4.75 kills per set on .554 (38-7-56) hitting. In the championship match against the Waves, the Sofia, Bulgaria native tallied 13 kills, three aces, and three blocks, while hitting at a .526 clip. The junior hit .500 or better in all three matches and finished with a tournament-best 38 kills. 
 
Worsley earned his second defensive award this season after recording 34 digs for a 3.78 per set average over the weekend. The Moraga, Calif., native was also picked to the all-tournament team. He posted two double-figure dig matches, including a career-high 15 in the title match, and did not record a reception error in 58 total service attempts. 
 
On the year, Parapunov is No. 2 nationally in hitting percentage (.522), No. 4 in aces (0.59) and points (5.27), and No. 5 in kills per set (4.22) while Worsley is No. 2 in digs (2.91).
 
The Warriors return to Big West play by hosting CSUN for a two-match series, Friday, March 15 and Saturday, March 16 at the Stan Sheriff Center.
