  • Friday (Feb. 22):  Stick around after the game for an autograph session on the field. 
  • Saturday (Feb. 23):  Little League teams or groups that have purchased a group rate package are invited onto the field to stand alongside the UH baseball players for the National Anthem & Hawaii Pono'i prior to the first game on Saturday at 1:05 p.m. (Check-in 30 minutes prior to first pitch of the first game near the Big West Conference logo on the ground level).
  • Sunday Funday (Feb. 24): Ticket Package 1 - $25 for family of four (two adults and two youth); Ticket Package 2 - $40 (four adults). Each ticket package includes four (4) upper level tickets, four (4) hot dogs, and four (4) bottle soda/water (while supplies last). Tickets can be purchased online, calling 944-2697 (option 2), walking up to the Les Murakami Stadium on game day or in advance at the Stan Sheriff Center Box Office.

Game Notes
  • The University of HawaiÊ»i baseball team hosts Iowa for the second four-game series of the season. UH and Iowa will play a single game on Friday, Feb. 22, a doubleheader on Saturday, Feb. 23 and a single game on Sunday, Feb. 24.
  • The Rainbow Warriors opened the 2019 season last weekend by going 1-3 versus Portland.
  • A pair of freshmen, Dallas Duarte and Scotty Scott, led UH in hitting in the opening weekend. Duarte went 6-for-13 (.462), while Scott finished 4-for-14 (.286).
  • UH is 1-2 in the all-time series versus Iowa. The two sides split a pair of games in Honolulu during the 1983 season with Hawai'i winning 15-3 on March 20, 1983 before a 5-4 loss to the Hawkeyes on March 25, 1983. They met again in 2017 at U.S. Bank Stadium in Minneapolis, Minn. when Iowa earned a 7-6 win.
  • The 'Bows are in the midst of a 20-game home stand to open the 2019 season. HawaiÊ»i will play a total of 32 home games at Les Murakami Stadium this season.
  • In the opening series, nine different players made their HawaiÊ»i debuts. Six of them are freshmen and the other three are junior college transfers.
  • Iowa is 2-1 on the season beating Pitt and Marshall and losing to George Mason.
  • Following the Iowa series, the Rainbow Warriors will host Longwood for a four-game set.
