SPRINGVILLE, Utah – The University of Hawai'i women's golf team placed seventh in its season-opening Hobble Creek Fall Classic after Tuesday's final round 295 at the Hobble Creek Golf Course.
Junior
Megan Ratcliffe shot a final round 74 for a 3-over 216 total and a tie for fourth place, her best career finish. Her 216 total was also her best 54-hole score, eclipsing her previous low of 224 at last year's Rainbow Wahine Invitational.
Tulsa captured the team title with an 877 total, two shots better than runner-up and host Utah Valley (879). Sam Houston State was third (890) followed by Northern Arizona and Boise State (893). UH's 295 was the fourth-best team score of the day.
Southern Utah's Chanikan Yongyuan captured medalist honors at 3-under 210 with a final round 71. Sam Houston State's Hannah Alberto, the Round 2 leader, finished one stroke back at 2-under 211.

Kaci Masuda fired a 1-over 72 and finished in a tie for 32
