KAANAPALI, Maui – The University of Hawai'i men's golf team currently sits in 17
thplace after Friday's first round of the 2018 Kā'anapali Classic Collegiate Invitational at the Royal Kā'anapali Course. The Rainbow Warriors shot 5-over 289.
Ninth-ranked Clemson leads the team standings at 22-under 262 followed by No. 26 California (266) and 16
th-ranked Georgia (268). Boise State, West Virginia, South Carolina (271) are tied for fourth while UCLA (272), Oklahoma (275), North Florida (278), and Wyoming (280) round out the Top 10.
The 20-team field features eight teams ranked in the Top 50.
Individually, UCLA's Patrick Murphy and Clemson's Zack Gordon are tied atop the leaderboard at 8-under 63.
