Ching Athletic Complex in the Leah Bennett Invitational with a new outdoor record and a bevy of personal bests.
Veracruz, Mexico senior
Tiziana Ruiz Dominguez continued a hot two weeks, breaking the pole vault record previously set by Patricia Gauthier in 2008, reaching a height of 13.45 (4.10m) to win the event. Ruiz also extended her own indoor record at the Mountain Pacific Sports Federation (MPSF) Championships to set up the sweep of the UH record books.
Chino Hills, Calif. senior
Robyn Brown and Langley, Canada senior
Jade Vaughan went first and second in the 400m hurdles with personal-best times of 1:02.50 and 1:03.10, respectively—both also UH all-time top-10 performances, Brown at No. 5 and Vaughan at No. 7.
Harbor City, Calif. sophomore
Montana Martinez's time of 7:34.64 in the 2000m steeplechase ranks fifth on the UH all-time top 10 list, achieved in her first-ever attempt at the event.
Making her first bid in the javelin Olympia, Wash. redshirt freshman
Karen Bulger's winning mark of 137.48 (41.90m) ranks her in the No. 8 spot among UH's all-time marks.
'Ewa Beach, O'ahu sophomore
Sha'tres Ah Nee made a strong showing in multiple events, earning first in the 200m (26.04), placing second in the long jump with a personal-best leap of 16-10 (5.13m) and came in third in the 100m hurdles with a personal-best time of 16.16 seconds.

Camille Campos was a standout in the distance events, winning the 800m (2:27.90) and 1500m (4:58.07).
First-year Troutdale, Ore. junior Countney Andre' notched wins in the 100m hurdles (15.67) and 400m dash (1:01.37).
'Ewa Beach, O'ahu redshirt sophomore
Raion Matautia was strong in the sprints, winning the 100m (12.59) and was second to Ah Nee in the 200m (26.34).
Wailuku, Maui senior
Amber Kozaki finished second to Ruiz Dominguez in the pole vault at 12-3.5 (3.75m), but also won the long jump with distance of 17-4.50 (5.30m).
Wai'anae, O'ahu junior Feliciana Vazquez came in just behind Bulger in the javelin with a distance of 133-2 (40.60m), and was second to Andre' in the 100m hurdles at 16.14.
Next up for the Rainbow Wahine is a trip to the mainland and Southern Cal for the Trojan Invitational in Los Angeles, March 18-19.
