Kanani Aina Cabrales came in with an out and two runners on base, but she put out the fire with a pair of groundouts to squelch the Cal Poly rally. Hitchcock also fired a complete game, four-hitter in the series finale. After giving up an early run in the second inning, she settled down to retire 11 straight Mustangs. She did not allow a hit in the final 4-1/3 innings and allowed just one base runner in the seventh off a walk.
